We are designing a nonprofit adult day program for intellectually disabled adults (age 22 and older) who require continued supervision and compassionate care after aging out of the public school system. This transition can be challenging for many families, as structured supports often disappear after high school, leaving a gap in services and opportunities. Harbor House aims to bridge that gap by providing a consistent, nurturing environment where participants are not only cared for but also encouraged to thrive.
At Harbor House, every day will be filled with intentional, meaningful engagement. Participants will enjoy a balanced schedule that nurtures their abilities, fosters social interaction, and promotes emotional well-being. Whether learning new life skills, joining in creative arts, exploring the community through outings, or practicing communication in a safe and supportive space, each individual will be seen, heard, and valued. Our ultimate goal is to help participants live their fullest lives — with dignity, joy, and belonging.
We're working toward a Spring 2027 launch date, but we need your help to get there. Every dollar donated and every share of our mission brings us closer to opening our doors to the families who are waiting — families who are searching for peace of mind, support, and a safe, loving environment for their adult children. This isn't just a goal; it's a promise to our community that no family should have to face the future alone. Your support today helps build a brighter tomorrow.
