Harbor House of Lodi is designed for adults aged 18 and older with intellectual or developmental disabilities who require ongoing supervision and support. Our program is especially suited for individuals who have aged out of the public school system and are looking for continued opportunities to grow, connect, and thrive in a structured and compassionate environment.
We are currently in the fundraising phase, aiming to secure the startup capital needed to open our doors. While our timeline depends on how quickly we can meet our financial goals, our target is to open by Spring 2027.
While our foundation is rooted in faith and guided by values like compassion, honesty, and integrity, our adult day program itself will not be religious in nature. We will not teach or promote any specific religion as part of our services.
Our faith simply inspires us to serve with love and excellence—it’s what motivates us to give back and to build a program that uplifts and supports our entire community, regardless of background or belief. Everyone is welcome here.
Initially, our program will focus on providing structured day services, life skills education, and community engagement. On-site medical care has very different licensing and compliance requirements, so it is unlikely we will be able to incorporate on-site medical care when we first open doors. But don't get discouraged, providing on-site medical care is definitely one of our goals as we plan to continue to grow and expanding throughout San Joaquin County and beyond.
Absolutely! Even if you don’t live in the Lodi area, there are still meaningful ways to support our mission. Virtual volunteers can help with administrative tasks, marketing, grant research, outreach, and more. Your time and talent can make a real difference from anywhere in the world.
